Demanding reopening of all academic institutions immediately following health guidelines, students of different institutions across the country formed human chains.

They demanded resumption of academic activities instead of extending closure of educational institutions.

Protesters stated that the fate of millions of students in the country is at stake due to the closure of educational institutions for a long time.

In Bogura, a human chain was held at Zero Point of the town around 12:30 pm presided over by Shakib Pradhan, a student of Sociology of Bogura Government Azizul Haque College.

In Khulna, students of various educational institutions, including Khulna University, BL College, Boyra Government Women's College, MM City College, Sundarbans College, Boyra Model College, took part in the human chain at Shivbari corner of the city.

In Rangpur, students of various institutions, including Dhaka University, Jagannath University, Begum Rokeya University, Pabna Science and Technology University, Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science & Technology University, Carmichael College, Rangpur Government College, Lions School and College, took part in the human chain demanding reopening of educational institutions.
