A 20-member delegation of Bangladesh Awami League (AL) will visit India at the invitation of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader told journalists at the political office of Awami League (AL) President Sheikh Hasina at Dhanmondi in the city.

Quader said, "The AL delegation will leave Dhaka for India on April 22 and the delegation will meet with the BJP on April 23. The delegation will return home on April 24."

Obaidul Quader will lead the delegation, the party sources said.
