The dengue situation of the country has been worsening as 237 more people were hospitalized with dengue infection in the last 24 hours.

Media reports revealed that the country saw hospitalisation of 196 dengue patients on Saturday.

According to data of the DGHS, some 218 new patients were hospitalised in Dhaka while 19 patients got admitted in hospitals outside of the capital in the past 24 hours till 8:00am on Sunday.

Meanwhile, dengue infection claimed lives of four people in the country this year as of now.
