Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque has said preparation is going on to vaccinate one crore people in a week from August 7.

He said, “At least one crore people of the country will be inoculated from August 7 to 14 amid much enthusiasm. The vaccination campaign will go on everywhere from ward or union to the capital. Priority will be given to the old-aged people. Then people of other age-group will be get Covid-19 vaccine.”

The health minister came up with the information while inaugural ceremony of first students of MBBS students at the auditorium of BCPS auditorium in the capital on Sunday noon.

Zahid Maleque also said the elderly persons can receive vaccine without maintaing registration process for the vaccine.
