President M Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Jatiya Party (JaPa) secretary general Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu.

They expressed their deep shock in separate messages of condolence on Saturday (October 02).

In a message of condolence, the President prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul of JaPa secretary general Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Bablu died while undergoing treatment at Bangladesh Specialized Hospital in Dhaka’s Shyamoli this morning. He was 66.
