Health Minister Zahid Maleque has said the government will start vaccinating school students aged 12 to 17 from November 1.

He came up with this information after holding a meeting with other cabinet members on Thursday.

Vaccination will first begin at 12 centres in the capital. The whole country will be brought under the campaign in phases, the health minister said.

The government has a plan to vaccinate 40,000 students every day, he added.
