Police arrested two persons with huge fake herbal cosmetics worth Tk 336,000 from Puthiya Upazila in the Rajshahi district on Thursday.

The arrested persons were identified as Muhammad Sujan, 33, and Bashir Ahmed, 32.

The detective branch of the district police seized a bulk amount of fake cosmetics after searching their houses around 8.15 am.

Superintendent of Police of Rajshahi Masud Hossain said that the arrested persons were involved in manufacturing the fake cosmetics and supplying those to various beauty parlours, gents parlours, saloon and cosmetics shops for a long.
