A huge number of dead jellyfishes were seen washed up on Cox’s Bazar sea beach on Friday.

The fishes were seen at the north side of Kolatoli point on the beach.

Being informed, a team led by Sayeed Mahmood Belal Haider, Director of Bangladesh Oceanographic Research Institute (BORI), collected samples from the dead fishes.

The fishes again washed away by tidal water in the afternoon. But, locals said the jellyfishes might be seen again during the ebb tidal phase.
