Results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations are likely to be published any day between November 28 and 30.

Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar, Chairman of Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, confirmed the development to the journalists.

A proposal was sent to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on behalf of the education boards for publishing SSC results on the recommended date, he said.

However, the final date will be fixed upon decision of the premier, he added.

A number of 15,99,711 candidates sat for the SSC examinations under nine general education boards; 2,68,495 under madrasa education board and 1,53,662 under technical education board in September.
