The price of soybean oil has decreased in the retail market of the country.
This information was learnt from an emergency instruction of the Ministry of Commerce on Thursday.
The revised price will be effective from December 18.
According to the latest prices of soybean oil, the government has decided to decrease Tk 5 for one litre, Tk 19 for 5 litre and Tk 4 and Tk 5 for one litre non-bottled oil.
According to the new rate, the price of a one-litre bottle of soybean oil will cost Tk 187. Currently, it is Tk 192.
Besides, the price of a 5-litre bottled soybean has been fixed at Tk 906. Which is now Tk 925 rupees.
Moreover, a litre of loose soybean oil has been fixed at Tk 167, down from Tk 172.
On the other hand, Palm Super open price per litre has been fixed at Tk 117. At present, the price of which is Tk 121.
The commerce ministry issued a notification in this regard on Thursday.
The new prices will be effective from December 18, the notification said.
