A five-member delegation team of Adani Group has reached Dhaka on Thursday to take part at a discussion meeting over coal price.

Bangladesh is expecting to buy coal from Adani at a lower price.

Sources said the delegation team along with high officials of PDB sat for a discussion on coal price on Thursday.

Recently, it was heard that Adani Group is taking too much price from Bangladesh for buying coal.

On the basis of the issue, PDB sent a letter to Adani requesting to amend the agreement and reduce the price. As part of the primary discussion, the meeting started on Thursday.

In the meeting, PDB and the delegation team raised their proposals. A discussion was held between PDB and the delegation. They will again sit for more discussion.
