The ruling Awami League (AL) has sought the opinions of people from different classes and professions and community leaders to prepare an election manifesto for the upcoming 12th general election.

These opinions were sought by a public notice signed by AL Election Manifesto Drafting Committee Member Secretary and also AL's Information and Research Affairs Secretary Salim Mahmud on Tuesday night.

The notice also said that the activities of the Awami League Election Manifesto Drafting Committee, which formed on the occasion of the 12th general election, have already started. The convener of the committee is AL Presidium Member Abdur Razzaque.

The manifesto of Awami League is not just a party manifesto. It is literally the manifesto of the entire nation. It is important what the people of the country expect from the Awami League in the upcoming parliamentary election.
