The IIDFC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Election Commission for using their database for verification of National Identification (NID) of clients.

The IIDFC, Industrial and Infrastructure Development Finance Company Limited, inked the deal at the Bangladesh Election Commission Secretariat in the capital on 04 July.

Helaluddin Ahmad, secretary of the election commission, and IIDFC Managing Director Md Golam Sarwar Bhuiyan, were present at the signing ceremony, says a media statement.

Along with other high officials, Brig. Gen. Mohammad Saidul Islam, Director General, NIRS, and Shahnaj Sultana, head of treasury of the EC, attended in the function.
