BNP Central Publicity Secretary Sultan Salahuddin Tuku has filed a general diary with the police station regarding the series of propaganda and slander being spread on social media.

An unidentified woman was filmed giving a speech posing as a plaintiff in a murder case and circulated on social media on Sunday evening, sparking a fierce backlash among Tuku supporters.

The leaders and activists claim that Sultan Salahuddin Tuku has been repeatedly slandered and slandered by vested interests through social media. He is working in the field, hoping to be nominated by the party in the Tangail-5 Sadar constituency in the national elections. Tuku filed a general diary with the Tangail Sadar Police Station in this regard last night.

In it, he mentioned that at around 3 am on Sunday, while he was at his home in the city's Akur Takur neighborhood, he received an audio message on his WhatsApp app. It shows that the alleged plaintiff in the murder of Jasim, a journalist with the Daily Bangla Times, was purposefully interrogated and an audio was recorded to extract false information against Tuku. Later, it was released on social media.

This was done with the sole purpose of humiliating him politically and socially. Sultan Salahuddin Tuku mentioned in his general diary that regular cases will be filed in this regard based on information in the future.
