On Thursday (April 2), Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Political Advisor to the Prime Minister and Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP, emphasized the necessity of a neutral administration to ensure good governance and prevent foreign interference.
Speaking at North South University, he criticized the tendency to credit a single family or group for the nation's independence, asserting that the Liberation War was a collective struggle of students, farmers, and laborers.
Rizvi argued that true independence is incomplete without civil liberties, freedom of speech, and the right to vote.
He called for a merit-based administrative system and urged national unity on issues of sovereignty and national interest to prevent the country from becoming a "failed state."
