Mentioning that the law enforcing agencies have shown enough patience on the ongoing students’ movement, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said police won’t stand quietly if such unrest continues to happen.
“We too have limits of patience and necessary action will be taken if that limits are tested,” he added.
The Home Minister made the remarks to reporters while inaugurating Traffic Week 2018 in city’s Gulshan zero point area on Sunday noon (August 5).
On the issue of rumor spreading in social media platforms, the minister said, “Social media is plagued by falsehood and rumors. You have all seen and heard how an actress posted a video in facebook will false claims. A vested quarter is carrying out propaganda operation in a bid to reset the path of the student movement.”
