Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarek Rahman declared on Saturday, May 9, 2026, that after winning the initial struggle, a new "war" has begun to fulfill the promises made to the people.

Addressing field-level leaders at the Krishibid Institution, he emphasized that his administration's top priority is ensuring good governance, a safe environment for all citizens, and a political culture free from oppression.

He urged BNP activists to stand firmly behind the government to ensure the success of national reforms, stating that without the party's grassroots support, the government cannot reach its desired goals.

This was his first meeting with field leaders following the 13th parliamentary elections.
