Xie Wenhai has joined Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) as its director from strategic investors.

The Board of Directors of DSE at its 907th meeting on Tuesday approved the appointment of Xie Wenhai, said a DSE press release today.

The Board of Directors also approved the transfer of 25 percent DSE shares in favor of its strategic investors, namely Shenzhen Stock Exchange and Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Xie Wenhai is the Deputy Director-general, IT Management Committee of Shenzhen Stock Exchange from 2016 and is now responsible for SZSE’s IT strategy planning. Xie joined Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 1990 and is a founding member of SZSE’s IT system.

Xie did his MBA from Hong Kong Baptist University.
