Bangladesh Power Development Board defeated Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Pratishthan by 3-0 sets in the Walton Independence Day Volleyball Competition, organised by Bangladesh Volleyball Federation, in Paltan’s Shaheed Nur Hossain National Stadium Sunday.

BPDB won 25-14, 25-16 and 25-23.

In Monday's match at the same venue, BPDB will face Bangladesh Air Force at 3pm.

Meanwhile in Saturday’s games, Air Force, Border Guard Bangladesh and Bangladesh Navy won their respective ties.

Air Force beat Fire Service 25-10, 25-18 and 25-11 (3-0 sets), BGB defeated BKSP 21-25, 25-19, 25-19 and 25-22 (3-1 sets) and Navy beat Bangladesh Police 25-20, 25-12 and 25-10 (3-0 sets).
