Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard in an overnight drive arrested two suspected Yaba peddlers along with five lakh pieces of Yaba pills from the Bay of Bengal near Ramanabad in Kuakata early Wednesday.

The identities of the arrestees could not be known immediately.

Tipped off, a team of Coast Guard led by Lt. Commander Najiur Rahman of Bhola Contingent conducted a drive in the sea and arrested the duo along with the contraband item from two trawlers, said Captain Mohiuddin of the contingent.
