BD receives record FDI in 2018

Bangladesh received its highest-ever FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) inflow in 2018 with around 68 per cent growth compared to the previous calendar year.
According to the UNCTAD World Investment Report 2018 released on Monday, actual FDI inflow reached US$ 3.61 billion in 2018, up by 67.94 per cent from US$ 2.15 billion recorded in 2017.
