PRESS RELEASE

Premier Bank has recently handed over the insurance claim bank cheques to the relatives of three people who were burnt to death in the FR tower fire incident. 

Those who received the cheques were: Sanjida Parvin, wife of late Md Abdullah Al Mamun, Mahmuda Akter Nodi, wife of late Md Nahidul Islam, and Jasmin Rahman, mother of late Maksudur Rahman. 

They received cheques worth Tk308,782, Tk310,724, and Tk343,385, respectively, said a press release. 

They were granted the money under the credit shield insurance program for Premier Bank credit card holders. 

M Reazul Karim, managing director of Premier Bank, and Jamal MA Naser, CEO of National Life Insurance, handed over the cheques to the victims' family members.

Among others, Md Abdul Jabber Chowdhury, additional managing director of the bank; Mamun Rashid, head of Cards Division, and Md Tareq Uddin, head of Brand Marketing and Communications, were also present at the event.
