Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday called his Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina to extend the greetings of the new year 2020.

Modi phoned the Bangladesh Prime Minister at 12:20 pm and extended his greetings and asks her to convey his greetings to the people of Bangladesh, said PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim.

Sheikh Hasina also extended the new year greetings to Narendra Modi and asked him to convey her greetings to the people of India.

The conversation lasted for about 15 minutes.
