Spinner Nayeem Hasan took five wickets as Bangladesh thrashed Zimbabwe by an innings and 106 runs inside four days in the one-off Test in Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Tuesday.
After Bangladesh declared their first innings on 560-6, a lead of 295 runs, Zimbabwe, who made 265 in their first innings, were all out for 189 in the second session on day four.
Craig Ervine top-scored for the tourists with 43 while T Maruma scored 41. Nayeem Hasan was the pick of the Bangladesh bowlers claiming 5-82 while Taijul Islam bagged 4 for 78.
Mushfiqur Rahim scored an unbeaten 203 runs while Mominul made 132 to give the hosts a 295-run lead.
