Emirates has got approval to carry outbound passengers on five routes from the United Arab Emirates from Monday.
The flights will be operated from Dubai to London, Frankfurt, Paris, Brussels, and Zurich with 4 flights a week to London, and 3 flights each to other destinations, said a press release.
Until further notice, these flights will only carry outbound passengers from the country.
The initial passenger services will be limited to travellers who could only meet the entry requirements set by destination countries.
Emirates will operate its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on these routes, offering seats in Business and Economy classes.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman and chief executive, Emirates Airline and Group said, "We hope to resume our full operations as soon as possible. Our network can only be restored with the ease of travel restriction and we are maintaining close contact with all authorities for the latest updates in this regard.''
It is here mentionable that most of the countries in the world suspended both the incoming and outgoing flights due to the global outbreak of coronavirus pandemic.
