A B M Azad new BPC chairman

A B M Azad has been appointed as new Chairman of the Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC).

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a circular signed by the Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration Muhammad Abdul Latif on Tuesday, saying the order will come into immediate effect.

A B M Azad, who has been serving as divisional commissioner of Chattogram (additional secretary), was promoted to secretary and posted as Chairman of the BPC, the state marketing and importing agency of petroleum fuels, under the Energy and Mineral Resources Division of Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources.

Another circular said Mohammad Abu Bakar Siddique, chairman of the BPC, has been transferred as secretary of the bridge division.
