Dhaka turns dark at midday

Heavy darkness enveloped Dhaka city for around half an hour from 11:00am on Thursday. Along with this came rains, bringing the city to a halt. 

Clouds completely overshadowed on the Dhaka sky around 11:00am. Suddenly, it turned into an almost invisible darkness. The skies started clearing at 11:25am and things came back to normal some time later.

The situation astounded the commuters and those who were staying at homes and offices.

Then, it started raining with thunder shower. Vehicles on the road were found running with the headlightes on. Midday appeared with the total darkness of midnight.

The spell of rain with gusty wind in Dhaka left many commuters in trouble.
