BD reports 34 more deaths, 2644 new cases

Bangladesh today confirmed 34 more deaths from the novel coronavirus and 2,644 new cases of infection testing 12,891 samples in the last 24 hours.

With this, the death toll from the deadly virus rose to 3,625 and the number of total infections stood at 274,525. 

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) made the disclosure through a press release. 

Health authorities reported that another 1,012 people have recovered from the disease in a day, taking the total number of recoveries to 157,635.

In the last 24 hours, 85 coronavirus testing laboratories across the country tested 12,891 samples.

Currently, 52,851 people are quarantined across the country – including 1,954 newly-quarantined individuals. A total of 413,064 people have completed their quarantine course.
