Tasnia Farin ties the knot

Popular actress Tasnia Farin has tied the knot with Shaikh Rezwan. Their ‘akht’ ceremony was held on August 11 attended by Farin and Rezwan’s family members and close friends.  

The actress confirmed the news through a post along with a picture on her Facebook account on Monday.

“Eight and a half years of love, friendship and togetherness; we finally made it official on August 11. We did our ‘akht’ in a simple ceremony surrounded by close family members. Everything was done hastily because currently he’s working overseas. We wish to have another celebration with our close friends and colleagues once he is able to come back again. I wanted to share this happy chapter of my life with all of you. Please everyone keep us in your prayers,” the post reads.

Tasnia Farin started her career in the media industry as a model. Later, she has acted in many television dramas. She rose to fame with her central role in the web series ‘Ladies & Gentlemen’ directed by Mostofa Sarwar Farooki. She has been critically acclaimed for her performance in web series ‘Karagar’. The actress also has appeared in Tollywood film ‘Aro Ek Prithibi’.
