Upazila Council Elections 1st phase Mar 10

Voting to 87 upazilas in 12 districts in upcoming fifth Upazila Council Elections will be held on March 10 in first phase. 

According to the election schedule, the deadline for the submission of nominations is February 11. While the date for nomination scrutiny is February 12, the last date for the withdrawal of candidature is February 19 and the voting day is March 10.

Election Commission Secretary Helal Uddin Ahmed announced the election schedule at a press conference on Sunday (Feb 3) afternoon after the 45th meeting held presided over by Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda.
