Fire at AB Bank’s Gulshan branch

A fire broke out at Arab-Bangladesh Bank's Gulshan branch in the capital at around 11am today.

Confirming the matter, Fire Service Control Room Officer Jahid Hasan said: "On information, three firefighting units rushed to spot. However, the fire was extinguished before the teams reached there."

The fire broke out due to a short circuit in the air conditioner, the fire service official added.
