Home Ministry's Public Relations Officer (PRO) Sharif Mahmud Apu has been infected with the novel coronavirus and dengue.

Sharif Mahmud confirmed that he had been infected with dengue when his test result also came positive for covid-19 on Thursday from the laboratory at Sher-e-Bangla High School. 

He also said that he had been attending office on an ongoing basis and was working to prevent coronavirus.

Sharif Mahmud said he has been isolating at home as per doctors directive.
