Multi-storey building catches fire at Elephant Road

A fire broke out in a multi-storied building at Elephant Road area in the capital on Monday afternoon.

Confirming the news, Rasel Sikder, a duty-officer of the Fire Service and Civil Defence, said three firefighting units rushed to the spot and were trying to douse the fire that broke out around 3:15 pm.

The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.

However, no casualty was reported.
