Hasina’s ex-principal secretary Kamal Abdul Naser arrested

Detectives arrested Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury, the former principal secretary and adviser to former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, early Wednesday.

Naser Chowdhury was arrested from the capital by the Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police (DB).

Besides, former youth and sports secretary Mesbah Uddin and Bashundhara Group coordinator Adnan have also been arrested.

Deputy Commissioner of the Media and Public Relations Department of DMP Talebur Rahman confirmed the matter.

DMP on Wednesday morning said that detective branch (DB) members arrested the three from different areas of the city Tuesday night.

Though Talebur Rahman said cases have been filed against them on specific charges, he did not elaborate the cases.
