Millions of people pray for Begum Khaleda Zia's recoveryThe whole country is crying for Khaleda Zia's mercy

In the history of Bangladesh, Begum Khaleda Zia stands as one of the very few living political leaders who have received heartfelt prayers from millions. The nation believes that such a universally respected figure may not emerge again in the foreseeable future. With deep concern for the future of the Bengali nation, people firmly believe that the Almighty will grant her full recovery.

From Dhaka to every division, district, upazila, thana, and even remote villages across the country, mosques, madrasas, and BNP banners are hosting prayers and Qur’an recitations seeking Begum Khaleda Zia’s healing. Social media is also flooded with posts from political activists and people from all walks of life praying for her recovery. It appears as though the heart of Bangladesh beats in rhythm with her suffering. As if a mother’s breath has paused within the chest of her children.

Khaleda Zia is a name adorned with the title “Mother.” A mother whose shoulder bore the tears of countless children. A mother who lost her own child, lost her husband, lost comfort—but never lost her boundless love for her people. Movements erupted at her call, yet hatred was never heard in her voice. Though her life was repeatedly scarred, her behavior never grew harsh. The more she was hurt, the softer she became— as if the Almighty had filled her heart with extraordinary compassion.

Today, people have forgotten political calculations; what matters to them is the pain of a mother. One only needs to look into her eyes to understand how silently she is suffering.

She is that woman who never once said, “I am tired.” Even during the darkest nights of imprisonment, she prayed for the well-being of her people. With her frail body, she held an entire nation like a mother holding her children. Her life is a symbol of sacrifice; her days are chapters of struggle. In every breath of the Mother of the Nation lives her unconditional love for Bangladesh. She lost everything in life—yet never bowed before oppression. Instead, her maternal affection for the people only deepened. Wherever she was wounded, she offered prayers; wherever she was imprisoned, she forgave; wherever she was insulted, she smiled for her country.

Today, while saline drips into her veins, an entire nation bleeds with pain for her. Even the white walls of the hospital seem to tremble with love.

Across Bangladesh, the same prayer rises: “O Allah, do not take this mother away from us. Return her to us with a smiling face, the symbol of strength and resilience of this nation.”

A woman who wept for others all her life — today the entire nation weeps for her. Such love, such compassion, such selfless sacrifice—people like her are born only once in history. She is not a distant star; she is the brightest guiding light in the heart of Bangladesh. She shines silently for us, while we hold on to her light with tearful eyes.

Khaleda Zia’s life is an epic of sacrifice — a history written in tears — a mother’s prayer that has protected an entire nation.

O Almighty, restore this symbol of compassion to health and return her among us. The next 24 hours are the most critical and prayer-filled moments for the nation.

Begum Khaleda Zia loved and cared for the people of Bangladesh sincerely—something rare among most politicians today. When the fallen government once blocked her path with sand trucks, she trembled with anger and said:
“If we want, we can bring down this government through a tough movement. But many innocent people will die. We have compassion for our people. We leave the judgment of this tyrannical regime to Allah.”

Her decision was accepted by all. BNP leaders and activists endured every oppression and injustice under Sheikh Hasina’s regime. And in return, through the justice of the Almighty, Sheikh Hasina was expelled from the country. As a divine reward, Khaleda Zia has been honored with the highest respect—her illness has united every household of Bangladesh in prayer and Qur’an recitation. This is the reward of her humility, patience, and unwavering compassion.

The people of Bangladesh always knew she never received a fair trial. They knew Sheikh Hasina would imprison her—and perhaps even end her life. Yet she returned from Makkah and Madinah and faced unjust trials. She chose the path of certain suffering and possible death. Allegations persist that poison was mixed into her food; slow poisoning damaged her liver and kidneys. Her doctor confirmed her fingers were swollen, both hands filled with fluid, and nearly 60% of her liver has already failed—symptoms typical of severe liver damage.

Still, the prayer remains: “May Allah grant her full recovery.”

The legendary political leader of Bangladesh, Begum Khaleda Zia, remains under treatment at Evercare Hospital. Her condition has slightly improved, and she is responding to treatment. May the Almighty help her.

She lost her child, her husband, her home, and many years of her life—yet she never surrendered to tyranny. Today she stands on the brink of losing to illness.

O Lord of the Throne, grant Your servant life until she sees a peaceful day. Only You can heal her and bring joy back to the people of Bangladesh.

In a land comparable to the size of New York State but home to 180 million people, she led the nation twice through hardship. She was a ruler and a politician—naturally, she had limitations and failures. Yet why do people love her so deeply?

Because of her pure patriotism and extraordinary integrity. Despite ruling for 10 years, corruption never touched her. She never signed deals that compromised the nation. She never feared the regional pressure of India. Unlike her rivals, she never staged emotional theatrics or claimed she had made the country a heaven. Under her rule, people were not shot down like birds. Even when losing power, she refused to cling to her throne with bloodshed.

People saw in her the heart of a woman raised in the cantonment, filled only with love for her country and its people. She said she had no home outside Bangladesh—and she proved it. That is why she is the beloved leader of nearly 80% of the people of Bangladesh.

Madam, we love you, we respect you. You are like a mother to us. This land will honor you for generations. May the infinite mercy of Allah be upon you.

Security tightened at Evercare Hospital

Begum Khaleda Zia’s treatment continues at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka. Security measures have been intensified.

On Monday (1 December) at 8:10 PM, DMP Commissioner Sheikh Md. Sajjat Ali visited the hospital to inspect and supervise security arrangements.

Additional police personnel have been deployed in the hospital premises as part of the heightened security protocol.

Hundreds of leaders and activists are spending sleepless nights at Evercare Hospital. Everyone is eagerly waiting for the physical news of Begum Khaleda Zia. It seems that the doctor will give the news, but Begum Khaleda Zia is looking for the leaders and activists with her eyes open. However, by the grace of God Almighty, she is under the close observation of the doctor.

Five specialist physicians from China have also arrived in Dhaka to assist in her treatment and later visited Evercare Hospital.
