Tk 400cr flats, plots sold, booked in REHAB Fair-2021

More than Tk 400 crore flats, plots and commercial spaces have been sold and booked in the five-day REHAB Fair-2021 held at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the capital.

Of them, Tk198 crore flats, Tk 125 crore plots, and Tk 78.38 crore commercial spaces have been sold and booked in the last five days, Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) President Alamgir Shamsul Alamin said at the press conference on Monday, the closing day of the fair.

"We have successfully organised the fair after two years amid the Covid-19 fallout. Some 19,236 visitors visited the fair till 4:00 pm," he said.

Earlier, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi inaugurated the fair on December 23.

A total of 220 stalls were set up at the fair where realtors, building material suppliers, banks and other financial institutions showcased their products and services.

Of the stalls, there were two diamond pavilions, six gold sponsors, 22 co-sponsors, 15 building material companies and 13 finance investors.
