BAJUS cuts gold prices

Local jewellers have reduced prices of two categories of gold uniformly, with effect from today (Tuesday).

Prices have been slashed by Tk100 per gram of 22 and 21 carat of gold, according to a press release issued by Bangladesh Jewellers' Association (BAJUS) on Monday.

On the other hand, prices of 18 carat and traditional gold have been cut by Tk85 and Tk 65 each gram respectively.

With the fresh pricing, per gram 22 carat gold will be sold at Tk6,660, 21 carat at Tk6,360, 18 carat at Tk 5,450 and traditional at Tk4,550.
