BD participates at Sourcing at Magic at Las Vegas

Bangladesh participated at Sourcing at Magic with 30 other countries for products branding and further export growth in US market.

20 apparel companies from Bangladesh participated in the fair--held from February 04 to 07-- in joint collaboration with Bangladesh Consul General Office in Los Angeles and Export Promotion Bureau in Dhaka.

Smee Apparels Limited, B Brothers Garments Co Limited, Fashion Makers Inc, Sahara Exports Incorporation, Dowsland Apparels Limited, Red and Green Textile Limited, Alight Fashion Limited, NFZ Teri Textile Limited, Entrust Fashions Limited, Musk Trousers Limited, Design Gallery Pvt Limited etc. participated in the fair and got positive results with a good response from US buyers of their displayed different types of apparels products which would help them to increase their export in near future.

India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Mexico, Peru, Egypt, China, Hong kong, Ghana, Japan, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Colombia etc participated in the sourcing pavilion to showcase their different kinds of apparels products.

On February 04, 2020, Bangladesh Pavilion was opened by Tareque Muhammad, consul general of Bangladesh in Los Angeles while Christopher Griffin, president of Sourcing at Magic, Bob Berg, director International Sales of Sourcing at Magic and Al Mamoon, commercial counselor of Bangladesh Consulate General in Los Angeles were present during the opening session, says a press release.

Sourcing at Magic is a sourcing platform in the USA and there is an opportunity to participate twice a year during February and August sourcing event to meet buyers to get an order for promotion and export growth.

Bangladesh exhibitors opined that Bangladesh government should give more support and priority for them for participation in the fair twice a year for promotion and export growth of Bangladesh-made apparel products in the US Market.
