Actress Nusrat Faria detained

Dhallywood actress Nusrat Faria was detained at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital this afternoon while she was about to travel to Thailand this morning.

She was detained from the immigration check post of the airport and was taken to the Detective Branch (DB) of police.

Bhatara Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Sujan Haque confirmed the matter to media.

He said that the airport immigration police arrested Nusrat Faria at around 11:00 am on Sunday. There is an attempt to murder case during the mass uprising in July against her at Bhatara Police Station.

Nusrat Faria portrayed the former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the film "Mujib: The Making of a Nation."

Nusraat Faria began her acting career in 2015 and has worked in several Bangladeshi and Indian films since then. Apart from that she is also active in modeling and television hosting.
