Finance minister’s son-in-law dies in London

Finance minister AKM Mustafa Kamal’s son-in-law Md Dilshad Hossain died of cardiac arrest at his house in London, United Kingdom, on Friday, said finance ministry public relations officer Gazi Tauhidul Islam on Monday.

The 46-year old Dilshad was husband of minister's elder daughter Kasfi Kamal. He was also nephew of Dhaka's former mayor Late Md Hanif and cousin to Sayeed Khokon.

According to the Bangladesh High Commission at London, the police primarily assumed that Dilshad died of cardiac arrest two days ago.

The High Commission is looking over the matter. His family members are currently in Bangladesh.

The families of the deceased and the minister urged countrymen to pray for the departed soul.

His body would be brought back to Dhaka for burial.
