Fitness Center of Jatiya Press Club inaugurated on Monday

The newly constructed fitness centre (gymnasium) of Jatiya Press Club was formally inaugurated today (Monday) at a simple ceremony at the club premises.

State Minister for Youth and Sports M Zahid Ahsan Russell MP inaugurated the centre on the 2nd floor of the club, constructed under the financial support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Saif Powertec.

Managing Director of Saif Powertec and renowned sports organiser Tarafder Mohammad Ruhul Amin was also present as special guest at the function, chaired by JPC President Farida Yesmin.

JPC general secretary Elias Khan, former president Saiful Alam, Managing Director of BSS Abul Kalam Azad, JPC senior vice president Hasan Hafiz, joint secretary Ashraf Ali, Treasurer Shaheed Chowdhury and convenor of JPC sports committee Shahnaz Siddiqui Soma, among others, were present on the occasion.

JPC members will be entitled to use the fitness center, with women members in the morning and men from noon to evening till 9 pm.
