Prime Minister drove the racing car made by young student Rizwan

In a rare and inspiring gesture, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman took a test drive of a handmade "Go-Kart" created by a college student named Rizwan Rashid at the Prime Minister's Office premises in Tejgaon on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

Rizwan, who designed and built the racing car himself following his HSC exams in 2025, caught the Prime Minister's attention after his story went viral on social media.

Driven by a passion for mechanics inherited from his father, a diploma engineer, Rizwan turned his financial constraints into an opportunity for innovation.

After the drive, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman highly lauded the young innovator’s creativity, emphasizing that the nation’s youth should be increasingly encouraged to engage in such inventive and creative endeavors.
