BNP announces partial committees in Dhaka, two other cities

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on Sunday announced partial convening committees for its Dhaka, Chattogram and Barishal city units, according to a press release signed by the party's Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.

The press release stated that a two-member partial convening committee has been formed for the Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP, with former president of Jatiotabadi Jubo Dal Saiful Alam Nirob as the convener and BNP's sports secretary, footballer Aminul Haque, as the member secretary.

For the Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP, a two-member partial convening committee has been formed with former member secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP Rafiqul Alam Majnu as the convener and former joint convener Tanvir Ahmed Robin as the member secretary.

A two-member partial convening committee for the Chittagong Metropolitan BNP has been formed with BNP leader Ershadullah as the convener and former Chhatra Dal leader Nazimur Rahman as the member secretary.

A three-member partial convening committee for the Barisal Metropolitan BNP has been formed with former convener of Barisal Metropolitan BNP Moniruzzaman Khan Faruq as the convener, former joint convener Md. Ziauddin Sikder Zia as the member secretary, and former Chhatra Dal leader Afroza Khanam Nasrin as the 1st joint convener, the press release added.
