Information and Broadcasting Minister Zahir Uddin Swapan, during a briefing marking the first month of the newly formed government led by Tarique Rahman on Wednesday (March 25), urged citizens to refrain from hoarding fuel to avoid creating artificial crises. He assured that the government has taken all necessary measures to ensure a stable energy supply. Highlighting the government's monthly achievements, the Minister noted the launch of the "Family Card" pilot project for low-income groups and the implementation of interest waivers on agricultural loans up to 10,000 BDT for marginal farmers. Additionally, he discussed initiatives such as the "Farmer Card" for direct agricultural support, honorariums for Imams and Muazzins, and the nationwide canal excavation program, while calling on the media to provide constructive criticism to help improve governance.
