BNP and Jamaat are terrorist parties and they will not be able to halt the national election by resorting to acts of terrorism, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said today referring to the recent subversive activities on the streets carried out by the two parties across the country.

“BNP and Jamaat are terrorist parties. They will be paid befittingly like terrorists,” said the prime minister while addressing a press conference over the outcome of her recent three-day official visit to Brussels, the capital of Belgium.

About the national election, she said the 12th parliamentary election will be held as per schedule.

“It is not a matter who is issuing threats,” she said in a press conference held at her official Ganabhaban residence on Tuesday.

The Premier returned home from Brussels after attending the Global Gateway Forum conference on October 25-26.

About the person who impersonated him as advisor to US President, the prime minister said, “He will not be spared. I have already instructed in this regard.”

About the ongoing Gaza-Isarel war, the prime minister came down heavily on BNP for their silence and said her party will remain beside the people of Palestine.
