The two election monitoring organizations named 'SAARC Human Rights Foundation' and 'Election Monitoring Forum' have been in the news for their controversial roles in several recent national and local elections in Bangladesh. No one including the Election Commission and other election monitoring organizations knew anything about these two organizations.

Although the name has the word 'SAARC', the SAARC Human Rights Foundation has no connection with the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation or SAARC. In fact, former Election Commissioner Mahbub Talukder referred to the SAARC Human Rights Foundation as 'a fake organization' in his book.

After the elections were held on December 30, 2018, the two organizations held a press conference at the National Press Club on December 31 and said, "The 11th National Parliament elections were much better, fairer, and more impartial than the previous ones."

Mohammad Abed Ali is involved with two organizations - the SAARC Human Rights Foundation and the Election Monitoring Forum. He is the Secretary General of one and the Chairman of the other, respectively.

The Election Monitoring Forum (EMF) and the SAARC Human Rights Foundation, the notorious swindler organizations of the ghostly swindlers Maulana Mohammad Abed Ali and Iqbal Bahar Gang, allies of the fallen fascist dictatorship Sheikh Hasina's government, were actually a den of swindlers.

For the past seventeen years, there has been no such strategy and evil deed that the dictatorial murderer Sheikh Hasina has not done to suppress, torture and oppress all political, social and human rights organizations opposing the government and to consolidate their power. All political and human rights organizations in Bangladesh were suppressed and kept silent. Except for those who supported and praised the fascist dictatorial murderer Sheikh Hasina, the political offices and offices of all other democratic organizations were locked and blocked.

On the orders of the government, all the organizations were silenced through DB, SB, police administration and DJFI and other intelligence agencies. But the exception was the activities of Abed Ali's Election Monitoring Forum and SAARC Human Rights Foundation. They were collaborators and hired agents of all the evil deeds of the Awami League. Anyone else who called for protest or resistance was subjected to horrific torture and torture in the name of disappearance, murder and remand.

The bogus Election Monitoring Forum (EMF) of Abed Ali and Iqbal Bahar gangs was the obedient broker and agent to consolidate the power of the government of the dictator Sheikh Hasina, who killed democracy. In cooperation with the one-sided illegal and fake dummy elections, EMF Chairman Maulana Mohammad Abed Ali, Director Iqbal Bahar, Dr. Azadul Haque, former Election Commissioner Md. Shahnewaz, Vice Chancellor of DUET Professor Dr. Habibur Rahman, Pro Vice Chancellor of BUET Professor Dr. Abdul Jabbar Khan, Pro Vice Chancellor of Islamic Arabic University Professor Dr. Abul Kalam Azad, Al Arafah Islami Bank officer and EMF Director Md. Tanvirul Islam played a leading role. They were essentially propaganda agents who used press conferences and fake foreign observers in the media at home and abroad to legitimize the government's illegal elections and portray the elections as neutral, peaceful, and acceptable.

Just 3 months before the 2018 elections, the infamous fake Election Monitoring Forum (EMF) was established with the special planning and support of the government. Within a very short time, the EMF team of Abed Ali and Iqbal Bahar Gang obtained registration as per the government's blueprint with the help of obedient election commissioners and embezzled huge amounts of money from the government.

Despite various controversies surrounding every election, including the 2018 election, the EMF and SAARC Human Rights Foundation repeatedly held press conferences to present the election to the media at home and abroad as fair.

They had a close relationship with all the ministers and MPs of the fascist murderer Sheikh Hasina and the Awami League government and the left-wing political leaders who were partners in the government. It was on the strength of this relationship that Abed Ali of the Election Monitoring Forum and his associates held press conferences at various places including the National Press Club in exchange for huge amounts of money and privileges from the government in all the national and local elections of the country, and spread shameless lies and gave legitimacy to the fair and impartiality of the elections.

There is no attempt by the infamous Abed Ali and Iqbal Bahar gang to legalize every vote-stealing festival held during the Awami League government.

Taking advantage of the silence of the current interim government, this group is continuing its efforts and lobbying to meet with various advisors and engage with the Election Commission.

There are strong demands from various political parties and social organizations to ensure exemplary punishment for Abed Ali and his associates of the so-called Election Monitoring Forum.

Abed Ali and his associates of the Election Monitoring Forum, in exchange for huge amounts of money and privileges from the government, held press conferences at various places, including the National Press Club, and covered up shameless lies and gave legitimacy to the fair and impartiality of the elections in all the country's national and local elections.

There is a demand from all quarters to arrest, investigate and provide exemplary punishment to all directors and spokespersons of the Election Monitoring Forum, including EMF Chairman Maulana Abed Ali and Iqbal Bahar, who are accomplices in all the electoral misdeeds of the country, the ghost of the former dictator and murderer Sheikh Hasina, before they escape.
