Brutal OC pradeep's brother Sadip left the country

Police Inspector Sadip kumar das has left the country on official leave. Sadip is the brother of Teknaf's dismissed Officer-in-Charge (OC) Pradeep Kumar Das, an accused in the Major Sinha murder case.

OC Pradeep was involved in various misdeeds during the Awami League era while wearing police uniform. There were various debates on social media involving former OC Pradeep's brother Sadip, who is in prison in a murder case.

Due to OC Pradeep's misdeeds, Sadip was removed from Chittagong and transferred first to Feni and later to Lakshmipur without any promotion. After that, Sadip was last working in the Intelligence Department of Feni Sadar.

Sources said that Sadip went to Thailand on June 10 with his wife and two sons and daughter on leave for medical treatment. He left for Thailand via Dhaka Shahjalal International Airport at 1:35 pm on Thai Airlines. After that, he did not return to the country due to communal fear.

Intelligence Department's sources said that on June 17, he and his family migrated from Thailand to America.

It is known that during the Awami League government, two brothers, Pradeep and Sadip, served as OCs in various police stations in Chittagong, rotating throughout the entire period. There was a rumor in the police that these two brothers got jobs on the recommendation of the Indian Embassy.

A group of police led by Pradeep played a leading role in suppressing the Hefazat-e-Islam movement in 2013 and the BNP movement in 2014 and 2015. Pradeep is accused of entering mosques and beating up worshippers during prayers, leaving them bleeding.

This is why Pradeep was transferred from Chittagong to Teknaf to implement the 'killing mission' of the Awami League government's so-called anti-drug campaign. However, Sadip Kumar Das was still roaming around in Chittagong.

Pradeep killed at least 150 people in Teknaf and Cox's Bazar in less than a year in the name of alleged gunfights, tagging them as drug dealers. Most recently, on July 31, 2020, retired Major Sinha was shot dead on Marine Drive in Cox's Bazar under the leadership of OC Pradeep.

The government was forced to arrest Pradeep because the army was strict in the trial of Major Sinha's murder. A few months later, he surrendered in a case filed by the ACC on charges of acquiring illegal wealth by OC Pradeep's wife. Although the trial of the case was slow during the Awami League era, the trial of Major Sinha's murder case gained momentum during the interim government's tenure.

Meanwhile, after Pradeep's arrest, Sadip went largely out of the public eye. Although he worked, he did not appear in front of the media much. In the meantime, when the government fell, he was transferred from Chittagong to Feni. He was last working in the intelligence department of Feni Sadar.

When contacted, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Chittagong Range Ahsan Habib Palash said he was not aware of any news of Sadip leaving the country.

When asked about this, Police Inspector Sadeep Kumar Das said, "I came to Thailand with my family for medical treatment on leave in accordance with government regulations. But due to the misinformation surrounding me through various media and social media, my return to the country has become uncertain for the time being."
