Army seizes weapons from remote separatist hideout in Bandarban
The Army has seized some firearms from a hideout of Bom Party, an indigenous separatist group, in a remote area of Rupa upazila, Bandarban during a month-long raid.
Bom Party, also known as the Kuki National Army (KNA), operated a training facility in the unpopulated border area, said a press release issued by ISPR.
The seized weapons include a wooden rifle, sniper ceiling, military belt, cartridge belt, militant uniforms, boots, as well as blankets, walkie-talkie charger, solar panel and other items.
During the 25 July-26 August raid, the Army also took control of a militant training field, firing range, trenches and other strategic establishments in the hideout.
