Forex reserves cross $30 billion again
Bangladesh's foreign exchange reserves have once again increased to $30.35 billion which was $29.78 billion just a day ago, according to the Bangladesh Bank (BB).
“The country's foreign exchange increased to $30.35 billion. Bangladesh received $507 million as budget support from the World Bank,” Mezbaul Haque spokesperson of the BB said on Wednesday.
The forex reserve was $29.78 billion on Tuesday.
The country’s foreign exchange reserves came down to $29 billion mark earlier this month as the Bangladesh Bank cleared import bills of $1.18 billion to the Asian Clearing Union (ACU).
