No info on whether Hadi’s attackers fled to India: DMP

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Deputy Commissioner (Media) Talebur Rahman said on Sunday that the law enforcement agencies do not have any information indicating that the attackers who shot Sharif Osman Hadi have fled to India.

He made the remarks at a press briefing organised by the DMP, responding to questions about the investigation into the attack on Hadi, convener of Inqilab Mancha, who remains in critical condition following the shooting.

Talebur Rahman said police have not found any indication of an imminent threat of further targeted attacks and stressed that law enforcement agencies remain on high alert to maintain law and order.

He added that the investigation is ongoing and further details would be shared as they become available.
